At Swasri Travels, we understand that plans change. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to be fair to both our customers and our drivers — who depend on confirmed bookings for their livelihood.

Outstation trips require significant advance planning — driver allowance, vehicle preparation, and route mapping. Terms reflect this:

Partial cancellations (reducing vehicles): pro-rata refund per cancelled vehicle if more than 24 hours before departure; standard fee applies within 24 hours.
If our driver does not arrive within 15 minutes of pickup (without prior intimation), the trip is free if a replacement is not arranged within 30 minutes. If you arrange other travel due to our delay, we refund any advance and offer a 50% trip credit.
We arrange a replacement at no extra cost and do not bill for the uncompleted portion. If a replacement cannot be arranged in reasonable time, we issue a full refund.
Report any inappropriate behaviour immediately — we investigate within 24 hours and act, including driver removal if warranted. If a different/smaller vehicle than booked is sent, you may refuse with no cancellation fee, or accept with a pro-rata refund.
For fastest processing, call or WhatsApp. Always wait for a cancellation confirmation from our side — without it, the booking remains active.
For cancellations due to factors beyond either party's control — natural disasters, pandemics, bandhs, riots, severe weather, road closures, or government restrictions — no cancellation fee is charged and any advance is fully refunded (minus non-recoverable third-party costs such as pre-paid tolls).
Festival & peak periods: demand is higher during major festivals — book early. There is no surge cancellation fee. Multi-day outstation trips: cancellation terms apply to each day separately. Force majeure during active trips: customer safety is the priority; additional time/distance is billed at standard rates, with refunds discussed case-by-case.
We recognise that life happens. While our policies are fair to customers and drivers alike, we always consider goodwill in genuinely difficult situations — call us and explain, and we'll do our best to help.
